TXS is a non-convoluted, ultra hygienic flexible PTFE liner with external embedded stainless steel vacuum spiral and stainless steel overbraid as standard. Choose when dynamic endurance, product viscosity, contamination hazard, turbulence, flow rate and hygienic cleanability are areas of particular concern.
TXS should be specified for applications where Ultra hygienic non-convoluted hose and high flexibility are imperative, e.g. Food, Bio, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic industry.

TXS/TXS-C has a PTFE liner, manufactured from PTFE material in accordance with FDA requirement 21 CFR 177.1550 and is also manufactured solely from materials which meet the requirements of the 3-A Sanitary Standards. Although the tubes interior surface meets the 3-A definition of (substantially flush) a micro ripple occurs during the compression molding process.
TXS/TXS-C has been tested and the PTFE liners comply with USP Class VI, including the Elution (Cytotoxicity) test.
WARNING Working pressure ratings for all Flex-Rite™ brand hoses are based on 70° F (ambient temperature). Working pressure and vacuum ratings will decrease as temperatures increase. For “T” series applications that exceed 250° F contact manufacturer for suggestions.
