About Our Hose Flaring Services
Hose flaring is a fabrication process where the inner PTFE liner of a hose is expanded (or “flared”) out past the cut end of the stainless-steel braid and jacket. This expanded liner is then shaped to mate directly with a sanitary fitting (like a Tri-Clamp or flange) without needing a separate insert.
Instead of terminating the hose with a stem that sits inside the liner (which could create a dead space for fluid entrapment), the liner itself becomes the fluid contact surface all the way to the sealing face of the fitting.
Hose flaring for TXS ensures a smooth, crevice-free sanitary connection where only PTFE contacts the product, maximizing cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.
