TXS-C

EPDM Cover with Smooth Bore PTFE Tube - Carbon Filled

TXS-C offers the same flexibility, hygienic performance, and durability in critical applications as TXS, but has a carbon filled tube for safety purposes. It excels where product viscosity, flow rate, contamination risk, turbulence, and cleanability are key concerns. Ideal for ultra-sanitary environments in the food, biotech, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries, TXS-C is the go-to choice when a non-convoluted, high-flex hose is essential for dynamic use and clean-in-place (CIP) or steam-in-place (SIP) processes.

This hose features an exterior convoluted design with stainless steel braid reinforcement and paired with an EPDM cover.

All “T-Series” hoses meet USP Class VI & FDA Criteria – ALL liners are extra thick to provide better flex life and less permeation. Anti-static tube option available.

TXS/TXS-C has a PTFE liner, manufactured from PTFE material in accordance with FDA requirement 21 CFR 177.1550 and is also manufactured solely from materials that meet the requirements of the 3-A Sanitary Standards. Although the tube’s interior surface meets the 3-A definition of (substantially flush) a micro ripple occurs during the compression molding process.

TXS/TXS-C has been tested and the PTFE liners comply with USP Class VI, including the Elution (Cytotoxicity) test.

WARNING Working pressure ratings for all Flex-Rite™ brand hoses are based on 70° F (ambient temperature). Working pressure and vacuum ratings will decrease as temperatures increase. For “T” series applications that exceed 250° F contact the manufacturer for suggestions.
