Canadian Registration Number (CRN)

The Canadian Registration Number (CRN) is a number issued by each province or territory by an authorized safety authority for any boiler, pressure vessel or fitting that operates at a pressure greater than 15 psig (1 barg). The CRN signifies that the design has been accepted and registered for use in that province or territory.

Ace Sanitary parts that have been issued a CRN number are designed to operate at the attached pressures which comply with ASME B31.3 table 326.1 under the listed standard ASME BPE – the standard lists materials of construction, design pressures and temperatures, as well as dimensional requirements.

For added security, all CRN fittings are etched with Ace Sanitary.
